This hose set includes the oil filling hose (1180.45), the connector that runs up to the cap (1180.46), the hose that
connects to the rocker cover (1192.99), and the connector hoses => airflow meter hose, throttle (1192.63 – 1192.64)

Recirculating the oil vapours is essential for the engine to run properly; these hoses are often cracked, as they are baked by the hot oil over several years. The original elastomer that makes up these hoses literally "bakes" over time.

These cracks can in particular let outside debris be sucked in during the vacuum phase.
The result is contamination of your 309 GTI 16s oil, and as everyone knows this contamination will greatly increase engine wear.
