The cylinder liner is an essential engine component. Depending on the material used, tensile and compressive strength can vary significantly, with a real risk of breakage.

This is why Mespiecesauto.com has developed a certified foundry-made liner in spheroidal graphite cast iron 700, known as GS700.

Its compressive strength properties are equivalent to 1000 N/mm² steel.
Many so-called GS800 liners are available on the market. However, GS800 cast iron is very difficult to obtain in foundry production due to its specific material structure, and nobody is able to certify this material.
