Renault 5 GT Turbo oil pump

Exclusive: Mespiecesauto has relaunched production of oil pumps for the Super 5 GT Turbo.

The complete assembly is brand new: cast aluminium pump bodies, with rotor and stator manufactured by powder metallurgy — sintering — exactly as original.

Oil pump bodies often develop excessive clearance over time. Even fitting a repair kit — which, in many cases, does not respect the original specifications — can actually make the situation worse.

The oil pump used on the Cléon Turbo engine is specific: it is not a gear pump, but a trochoidal pump with a rotor and stator.

Mespiecesauto has remanufactured the foundry and sintering tooling. We were also able to recover part of the original specifications, including rotor/stator material data, drawings, and technical information.
