Introducing the homologation form

The recommended press fit of 0.1 mm is advised for installation Renault 5 Turbo 2, sold from 1983 onwards, is Phase 2 of the original R5 Turbo. Its PTH (Homologated Technical Passport) records the changes made compared with the first version: bumpers integrated into the bodywork, revised interior and upgraded trim, while retaining the 840/730 Cléon-Fonte 1,397 cc turbocharged central arrière.

Unlike the Turbo 1, whose bodywork was partly hand-built (made by Heuliez), the Turbo 2 adopts fully integrated bodywork mass-produced by Renault, making it easier to build and cheaper to produce.
