Mespiecesauto has restarted production of the expansion tanks for the Sierra Cosworth Coupé by fully recreating the injection moulding tooling.
Two internal reinforcements have been added to limit the excessive deformation observed on original tanks, a phenomenon that can lead to micro-cracks around the sensor area.
Our tanks have undergone laboratory validation tests:

• Thermal stress: -40 to +115 °C

• Pressure spike test: 5 bar

• Life cycle test: 200,000 cycles at 2 bar, one cycle every 2 seconds
