Aluminium radiator for Renault 5 Turbo, built in a Tour de Corse configuration, matching the original reference 6001000819.

This radiator is designed to improve cooling capacity while keeping a fitment compatible with the original location.

Reinforced 50 mm core

The core thickness is increased to 50 mm, compared with about 40 mm as standard. This is the maximum thickness that still allows fitment in the original location of the Renault 5 Turbo.

This increase in thickness increases the available heat exchange surface, in order to improve heat dissipation on a heavily worked turbo engine.

Brand-new tanks and core

The radiator is made with new tanks and a new core. This design lets you start from a sound base, without the limitations of an old core that is partially blocked, oxidised or worn out.

Temperature sensor repositioned at the front

The location of the temperature sensor is at the front, unlike the original fitment where the sensor is positioned crosswise.

This change makes it easier to access the sensor once the radiator is fitted, particularly during installation, checking or maintenance.

A radiator's efficiency does not depend only on its material. The core thickness, the heat exchange surface, the fin geometry, the airflow and the coolant circulation all play a role in thermal efficiency.
