Technical specifications
Our silicone hoses for the idle control valve are made with thick silicone of around 5 mm. We add internal reinforcement to prevent them from collapsing.
We recommend fitting trunnion clamps on this type of hose to obtain a strong clamping force.
These hoses only fit with the idle control valve whose inlet and outlet are at 90° (Bosch type 0280140502).

A damaged idle control valve hose can cause significant symptoms:
- Irregular idle speed
- Unexpected stalling
- Poor combustion
- Mixture fault
It is essential that this circuit is airtight and in good condition.
We also recommend cleaning the idle valve, as it can be responsible for hunting (yo-yo effect at idle).
